About Total Body Scan
CT scanning of the chest and abdomen is able to detect subtle abnormalities of the lungs and abdominal organs so they can be addressed before they become a significant problem.
What To Expect
Total body scanning does not require iodinated contrast. The exam is done during one breath hold using a minimal doe of radiation. The results are then analyzed by our radiologist before a report is issued.
Preparation
No special preparation is necessary.
