New services now available at Meadowlark MRI and CT
Insight Medical Imaging is pleased to announce that two additional imaging exams are now available at Meadowlark MRI and CT.
Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) is a non-invasive imaging exam that evaluates the arteries of the heart for significant narrowing or even complete occlusion without the need for invasive arterial access to your heart through an artery in your leg. This technique eliminates the risks associated with arterial access and time consuming process of conventional angiography. Instead of setting aside a good part of your day and undertaking the risks of arterial access, CCTA requires less than 15 minutes of your time and only routine vein puncture for contrast administration. Virtual Colonoscopy (VC) is a non-invasive method for examing the colon for polyps and tumors that has traditionally required colonoscopy. Using CT, a VC exam can allow assessment of the colon as well as the structures around the colon in the abdomen in less time and with less discomfort than conventional optical colonoscopy.
