Mammographer
Full-time position | Millwoods

We are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to become part of our team as a Mammographer at our Millwoods Clinic. This is a full-time position with start date as soon as possible.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of technical activities association with the performance of mammography
Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammography equipment
Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality obtaining additional images as required.
Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate
Explain procedures to patient
Use appropriate billing codes for mammographic procedures
Assist in maintenance and compilation of statistical data, as directed
Maintain continuing competency for Mammographers as outlined by the ACMDTT and CAR-MAP
Demonstrate basic understanding of PAC’s, Perkinjie and IDDA systems
Other duties as required

Qualifications include:

RTR Designation in good standing CAMRT/ACMDTT
Minimum of 2-3 years Mammography experience
Completed Mammography Level 1 & 2 certification
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to work effectively with others
Willingness to learn Breast Ultrasound would be an asset
